Build Hudson Project Manager

Responsibilities 

  • Developing estimates and change-orders and reviewing draft invoices

  • Creating and editing construction drawings

  • Creating material lists and procuring materials and equipment

  • Assisting with code-enforcement and inspector interface

  • Assisting with project management for multiple job sites

  • Assisting with scheduling and communicating with Sub-contractors

Experience / Interests / attitude

  • Must be able to create technical drawings/modeling  

  • Working knowledge of local material distributors

  • Positive, self-starting attitude

  • Ability to initiate tasks and responsibilities without direct supervision  

  • Attention to detail 

  • Fluent in computer skills: 3d design, excel, microsoft word 

  • Fluent in spanish (Not required) 

  • Valid driver's license


This is a Full-time position (could start as part-time) with benefits (health insurance, paid holidays, etc..), salary commensurate with experience and skill level. Upwards mobility within the organization is not only a possibility, but a desired goal for this position.

Build Hudson Development Director

Responsibilities 

  • Developing and implementing 1, 3 and 5 year growth strategies for organization and strategic plans

  • Researchingand applying for grants and other workforce development funding sources (governmental and private)

  • Creating and implementing company handbook 

  • Creating and implementing company code of ethics

  • Assisting in supervising personnel management (health insurance, payroll, staff development)

  • Assisting in time management/organization (google calendar, project management software)

  • Supervising invoicing process and weekly communication with book-keepers


Experience / Interests / attitude

  • Must have 5+ years experience in a supervisory setting, including direct management of staff.   

  • Competency in creating, editing and formatting spreadsheets, presentations and web pages.

  • Ability to initiate tasks and responsibilities without direct supervision  

  • Fluency in Spanish (preferred, not required)
