  • Design and construction of an auxiliary space for Spark of Hudson.  Build Hudson designed 504 Union as a residential resource for Spark of Hudson. This building was imagined to be a house for an employee, a weekend stay for a visiting lecturer, or a home for a retreat.

  • Construction of a commercial kitchen in the basement of the Spark of Hudson. Designed to be a shared community resource used by both the staff at Circles Bagels and other local caterers, chefs and for events at the Spark.

  • Through an ongoing collaboration with the Columbia Land Conservancy, Build Hudson has worked to redesign, repair, rebuild or complete new construction of a variety of infrastructure projects at multiple Columbia Land Conservancy trails and sites, including benches, information kiosks, and a large scale visitors gazebo.

    Gazebo

The Build Hudson team worked directly with the Staff of the CLC to salvage the beloved overlook Gazebo at The Greenport Conservation Area, instead of demolishing and replacing the gazebo with a new structure. Using locust from the forests of the CLC, the team replaced and spliced in new posts and installed a new cedar shingled roof, so that gazebo will remain for years to come.
